About Adams & Sons Construction Company Inc

In Cumberland, snow often shows itself first as a gray curtain drawn across the Narrows, sliding down into the valley while the town still sleeps. Adams & Sons Construction Company Inc goes out to meet it — plow lights moving through the dark, the blade finding pavement, salt hissing behind. There is a particular satisfaction in a driveway scraped clean to the blacktop before the porch light even comes on. By the time the sun clears the ridge, the lots are open, the walks are cut, and the day can start on time. Winter here arrives on the mountain's schedule; the clearing happens on yours.
