Greenly's Land Management

About Greenly's Land Management

High summer in Cordova means corn standing head-high on both sides of the road and heat shimmering over the crossroads by noon. Greenly's Land Management works the lawns of this Talbot County village, where the land lies flat enough to watch a thunderhead tower up over open country an hour before it arrives. Shore grass grows hard through June and July, and keeping it in hand takes a steady mowing schedule, sharp trimming along posts and foundations, and edges cut true. There is real satisfaction in leaving a yard squared away just as the afternoon storm sends its first thunder across the fields. When the rain passes, the cut lawn smells of wet earth and July.
