About Evergreen Lawn Care LLC

Before the sun clears the tree line, Cordova's fields lie wide and level under a thin breath of ground fog, the way April mornings come to this corner of Talbot County. Evergreen Lawn Care LLC opens its season in that cool light, when red-winged blackbirds call from the ditch banks and the year's first growth is ready for its first careful cut. The work happens close to the ground: mowing at the right height, trimming the corners a mower leaves behind, leaving the walk clear of clippings. Out here a yard sits against a horizon that runs for miles, so an even lawn shows plainly from the road. By the time the fog burns off, the grass is striped and the morning is still young.
