About Land Escapes LLC

Snow in Columbia usually arrives at night, sifting down through the streetlights of Oakland Mills until every parked car wears the same white roof. Land Escapes LLC works those hours on purpose. While the storm is still deciding what it wants to be — powder, sleet, that heavy Maryland mix — the plow is already tracing routes through the villages, and the shovels come out for the steps and walks the plow can't reach. Salt goes down where ice likes to hide, on the shaded north sides and the low spots by the storm drains. By the time the sky turns pale over the Patuxent woods, the driveways stand out black and clean against all that white. It's brief, hard, cold work, and the reward is simple: people leave for work on time.
