About Kenny Mac Care of Maryland

By late October the oaks and poplars of Columbia let everything go at once, and the town's wooded streets disappear under drifts of copper and brown. This is Kenny Mac Care of Maryland's favorite argument for its own name: lawns need care, not just cutting. Fall means raking and hauling leaves before they mat down and smother the turf; the rest of the year means mowing on schedule, trimming, and the small attentions that keep a yard healthy instead of merely short. The crew works the neighborhoods between here and the Patapsco valley with a neighborly ethic — show up when you said, leave the place better than you found it, sweep the walk on your way out. It isn't complicated. But a whole year of it, autumn after summer after spring, is what a cared-for yard actually is.
