About Green With Envy, Maryland

On a June evening in Hickory Ridge, when the paths fill with dog-walkers and the light goes soft between the houses, certain lawns make people slow their stride. That second look is what Green With Envy, Maryland works for. The crew mows to an even height, trims tight to the fences, and cuts an edge along the sidewalk so clean it could be drawn with a ruler, because the difference between a mowed yard and a finished one lives entirely in those details. Columbia's clay soil and steamy summers don't give up a good lawn easily; it takes consistency, week after humid week. But when the neighbors pause at the curb and the grass holds its color into August, the effort shows. Every street has one yard the others measure themselves against — the goal here is simple: make it yours.
