About D.A. Picco lawn and landscape

On a June Saturday in Columbia you can stand in a driveway near Centennial Park and hear the whole town keeping its yards — mowers answering each other across the fences like birdsong. D.A. Picco lawn and landscape is part of that chorus, and proud of its part. The work is straightforward and done right: mowing on a steady schedule, trimming the places a deck can't reach, edging the walk so the line between concrete and green is a true line. Maryland summers push grass hard, thick and fast in the humidity, and staying ahead of it is its own kind of craft. The payoff comes at dusk, when the light goes low and the fresh stripes hold it. A well-kept lawn is a small thing that makes a street feel cared for, and this crew delivers it week after week.
