About Columbia Landscaping Company

Late afternoon in Columbia, the light comes in sideways and every edge in a yard declares itself — the seam where lawn meets bed, the border between grass and walk. Columbia Landscaping Company works that line for a living: mowing, edging, fertilizer and weed control, lawn spraying, keeping turf watered, and mulch laid to hold soil moisture and hold weeds back. Larger jobs run to sod installation, landscape design, patios and walkways, paver driveways, retaining walls, fencing and masonry, with tree trimming, pruning, removal and stump grinding when a limb starts leaning toward the roof. Bushes and shrubs get shaped, leaves get gathered, and the property comes back into focus. Then December arrives and the same driveways that were edged in July get plowed clear. One place, watched all the way around the calendar.
