About R&E Home Services

The first pass down a College Park driveway happens in the dark, when the streetlights along Rhode Island Avenue still wear their orange halos and the plow blade is the loudest thing in the neighborhood. R&E Home Services works those hours gladly. A nor'easter that stalls over the Chesapeake can bury the Calvert Hills sidewalks by midnight, and the job is to have them open again before the first commuters step out with their coffee. There is a particular satisfaction in the clean black ribbon of pavement running between two white banks, in a walkway scraped down to brick, in salt spread before the melt can refreeze. By the time the sun clears the rooftops east of the tracks, the work is already behind them, and the day belongs to everyone else.
