About Horizon Outdoor Design

The horse-farm hills off Shawan Road give Cockeysville one of its finest sights: sunrise hitting fresh snow on open pasture, fence lines drawn in black across all that white. Horizon Outdoor Design is usually up to see it, because snow work starts long before the light does — driveways plowed, steps shoveled, ice cut back with salt while the stars are still out. A storm here can be a dusting or a burying, and the job is the same either way: make the morning ordinary again. There is a quiet satisfaction in pulling away from a cleared drive as the sky goes pink. Winter mornings on the edge of the valley are the reward — a wide horizon, and clean pavement beneath it.
