From the right rise in Clarksburg you can see Sugarloaf Mountain holding down the northwest horizon, blue in summer, charcoal against the snow. Great American Landscapes works the whole year that passes beneath that view. In the warm months it is mowing and trimming, lawns kept thick and even while the humidity does its best; in the cold ones it is plows out before first light and walkways scraped to the concrete. The mountain does not change and neither does the standard: whatever the season hands the town, the properties on the list are kept ready for it. That constancy is the whole idea.
