Just outside Church Creek, the small brick Old Trinity Church, dating to the late 1600s, stands beside its tidal creek as one of the oldest churches in the country still holding services. Beyond it the land dissolves into the marshes of Dorchester County, and every fall the sky over nearby Blackwater fills with the clamor of geese coming down for the winter. Shorescapes looks after lawns in Church Creek, giving yards set among creeks, fields and salt meadows a clean cut and trimmed edges. Grass on the lower Shore grows on through mild autumn weather, so a late cut keeps a property tidy while the marsh turns tawny.
