About Johnson's Landscaping Service

Where Chevy Chase slopes east toward Rock Creek Park, summer mornings begin with cicadas in the tulip poplars and dew burning off lawns that have been loved for a hundred years. Johnson's Landscaping Service works this terrain in both of its moods — mowing, edging, and shaping yards through the growing season, then returning with plows and shovels when the creek valley funnels a January storm up over Brookville Road. The green work is patient: crisp lines along slate walks, beds cut clean, grass thick under old shade. The white work is urgent: driveways opened early, steps cleared down to the tread. Between the two lives a whole year of tending, and the reward is the same in June as in January — a yard that looks ready for whatever the day brings.
