About Leggs Lawn and Landscaping

On a snow morning in Chester, the Bay Bridge traffic still has to move — and so the drives and walks have to be clear before the first headlights point west. Leggs Lawn and Landscaping takes that deadline seriously, running plows in the dark so an island driveway is bare pavement by the time the coffee is poured. The rest of the year belongs to grass: mowing through the tidewater spring, trimming along bulkheads and fence rows, keeping yards tidy while ospreys wheel over the Chester River. Snow is an occasional visitor on Kent Island, but when it comes it comes wet and heavy off the bay, and there is real pride in beating it. Green season or white, the measure is the same — a property that looks ready for the day before the day begins.
