About J Ramos Landscaping & Services

By noon in July the cicadas own Cambridge, the loblolly pines stand dead still, and the heat off the flat Delmarva fields shimmers all the way in from Route 50. That is exactly when the mowing has to happen anyway, and J Ramos Landscaping & Services does it — row after row, yard after yard, water jug sweating in the truck bed. There is an honesty to working grass in that kind of heat: no shortcuts survive it, only rhythm, sharp blades, and the discipline to finish the trim work when the easy thing would be to skip it. Then the sun drops, the pines let out their breath, and the cut lawns hold the last light like they earned it. They did.
