About Budget Landscape Construction Inc

Snow usually finds Burtonsville in the dark, riding in over the Patuxent while Rocky Gorge Reservoir goes silent under it, and by daybreak Route 29 is a river of brake lights. Budget Landscape Construction Inc plows so its neighbors are not part of that river any longer than they have to be. Driveways are opened before the commute toward Silver Spring and Columbia, walks are shoveled to bare pavement, and salt goes down where refreeze likes to lurk — the shaded curves, the north-facing steps. Between storms the crew watches the forecast the way farmers here once watched it, ready to roll when the radar fills. A cleared drive at six in the morning, steam rising off the coffee — that is the whole point.
