About Hopwood Enterprises Inc

Snow reaches Brunswick down the Catoctin slopes, and it favors the small hours — by dawn the hill streets are white and pitched like sled runs. Hopwood Enterprises Inc plows against that clock. Driveways here are short but steep, walks are old brick and stone, and a storm that dusts the lowland can lay down twice as much on the ridge above town, so the routes start early and repeat until the sky is done. The work is snow removal, plainly stated: drives opened, walks shoveled, ice cut back with salt before it can take hold. There is a particular satisfaction in headlights sweeping a cleared driveway while the river below still steams with cold.
