About Farmer John Landscaping

Before the cul-de-sacs, this corner of Prince George's County was farm country — tobacco rows and horse pasture sloping east toward the Patuxent. Farmer John Landscaping works that same patient soil, one yard at a time. The crew reads a lawn the way growers once read a field: where the water sits after rain, where the clay runs heavy, where the sun lingers longest. Mowing, edging, and steady seasonal care follow from that reading, not the other way around. What's left behind is simple and satisfying — a Bowie yard that looks tended the way good ground has always been tended here.
