About Ciminelli's Landscape Services, Inc.

September light comes in low across Bowie, slanting off the Patuxent bottomlands and laying long shadows over every lawn on the east side of town. Ciminelli's Landscape Services does its best work in that light, when a freshly mowed yard shows every line the mower drew. The craft here is in the details that add up: edges cut plumb against the curb, beds turned and tidied, turf fed and thickened so it holds its color deep into fall. On the coastal plain the grass grows nearly ten months of the year, which means there is always something to shape, feed, or rein in. The reward is a landscape that looks composed rather than merely maintained — a yard the evening light is kind to.
