The Moore Companies

About The Moore Companies

North of Berlin the land opens into flat fields toward Bishopville, and when snow does find the lower Eastern Shore, the wind off Assateague drives it sideways and piles it against anything standing still. The Moore Companies works those storms through the deep hours of the night, pushing lanes open and cutting through drift lines so driveways along the field edges don't seal shut. In town, they clear entrances and spread de-icer before the overnight melt can glaze into black ice. Shore snow never stays long, but while it is here it can stop everything — unless someone is out in it, engine running, blade down. That is where they choose to be.
