Backshore Property Services

About Backshore Property Services

On a barrier coast, the backshore is the strip of sand the everyday tide never reaches — the part touched only by the big storms. Snow behaves the same way in Berlin: it comes seldom, but when a nor'easter swings up the Atlantic it arrives all at once, wet and heavy on drives from downtown out to Ocean Pines. Backshore Property Services is built for exactly those mornings. The plow is out while the sky over Assateague is still dark, and by first light the lanes are scraped back to black pavement, walkways opened, ice knocked down before anyone has to test it. The storm gets the drama; the cleared driveway gets the day started.
