About Platinum Pavers and Landscaping

From the top of Federal Hill, a snowfall turns the harbor to pewter and the rowhouse roofs into one long white ridge. It is beautiful for about an hour — then Baltimore needs to get to work, and Platinum Pavers and Landscaping is out with plows and shovels making that possible. The crew clears driveways, walks, and lots, treating brick and pavement so the melt does not turn to glass overnight. There is craft in it: the clean line along a curb, the path cut wide enough for two, the salt laid down before the temperature drops again. When the sun comes up over the water, their corners of the city are already moving.
