Pikesville Tree Service

About Pikesville Tree Service

Northwest of the city the streets stop running straight — Sudbrook Park's lanes curve on purpose, drawn around the trees rather than through them. Pikesville Tree Service keeps that canopy honest: pruning the old oaks and beeches, trimming limbs off slate roofs and driveways, taking down the ones that have gone quietly hollow at the base. In October the leaves make the whole neighborhood look finished; in February the ice turns the same trees into a question worth answering early. Storm damage cleanup around Reisterstown Road and the Gwynns Falls headwaters is fast and loud and then entirely over, the drive swept and the hedge unbruised. A canopy like this one gets kept a limb at a time, which is the pleasure of it.
