About Mary's Landscaping Services Inc

In Highlandtown and the blocks around it, snow turns the long straight streets into one white corridor, and every stoop becomes a small mountain range. Mary's Landscaping Services Inc goes to work on it while the plows are still out on the main roads — shoveling steps, cutting paths to the curb, salting the spots where tomorrow's ice is already planning its ambush. By the time the coffee shops open, the walks on the route are down to clean pavement and the drifts are stacked neatly out of the way. Snow removal is winter's version of tending a place, and Mary's tends it street by street. The storm passes; the way through stays open.
