About Groundscape Inc

The Jones Falls valley holds cold like a cellar, and when snow falls overnight the old mill buildings of Woodberry wake up frosted. Groundscape Inc works that overnight shift — trucks rolling before the plows finish the main roads, clearing lots and lanes so the morning can happen on schedule. The method is unglamorous and exact: push, stack, scrape, salt, then circle back when the wind undoes an hour's work. By the time commuters pour down the valley on 83, the pavement they turn onto is black and dry. Snow is temporary; a well-run route makes it feel that way.
