About Island Lawn Care, LLC

Avenue is a place you find by water — a bend of Southern Maryland where St. Clement's Bay glints through the loblollies and the Potomac is never more than a few fields away. Island Lawn Care, LLC cuts its rows in that tidewater light, where the summer air hangs heavy and a lawn can go from trim to shaggy in a single humid week. The work is mowing and edging, feeding tired turf, and raking down the fall of leaves, done with an eye for the clean line a yard shows the road. There is a particular pleasure in a fresh-cut lawn running down toward a creek bank, the stripes still bright while osprey wheel overhead. From Bushwood to Chaptico to Leonardtown, the crew keeps that green in order, one yard at a time, until the light goes gold over the bay.
