About Jorge Y. Landscaping

Early on a June morning, the dew along Turkey Branch is still heavy and the Matthew Henson Trail smells of wet leaves and cut grass. That first scent of the day often comes from Jorge Y. Landscaping, already at work on the lawns that back up to the stream valley. The craft is in the details this neighborhood notices: a mow line that runs true, an edge that follows the sidewalk like a drawn rule, shrubs trimmed so the windows get their light back. Grass grows generously in this part of Maryland, and keeping it in order is a season-long occupation. It is an occupation this crew clearly enjoys.
