Green Summer by Diego

About Green Summer by Diego

The name remembers summer, but the work begins when summer is long gone. Green Summer by Diego is a snow removal operation, out in the blue hour before dawn when Layhill lies under fresh powder and the only tracks on the street are the plow's. Driveways get opened, walks get shoveled and salted, and by the time porch lights start switching off, the pavement is bare again. There is a certain pleasure in being the first one through the snow so that nobody else has to be. That pleasure, repeated storm after storm, is the whole business.
