About Kollins Landscaping

Sandy Spring takes its name from an actual spring, water welling up through pale sand, which Quaker settlers found here in the 1700s, and the community still keeps a little of that unhurried Friends spirit. Kollins Landscaping cares for lawns across Ashton-Sandy Spring, where old meetinghouse grounds, horse pastures and newer neighborhoods share the same rolling Montgomery County hills. In April the grass greens quickly beneath the tulip poplars, and the first mowings of the year set the tone for everything after. Kollins cuts evenly, trims around beds and walks, and leaves a yard looking settled and calm, much like the place itself. Caring for the land is an old habit in this community, and a well-tended lawn fits right into it.
