About Sean William Land Strategies

There is an hour before the shops open when snow owns Main Street, the hill running white all the way down to Ego Alley and the moored boats wearing an inch of it over a grey harbor. Sean William Land Strategies works in that hour, clearing snow from Annapolis walks, steps, and driveways before the town comes downstairs. On brick and on a slope, shoveling is close work — done right, it leaves a dry path and no ice waiting underneath. De-icing follows the shovel so the melt cannot turn treacherous by nine. The city gets its morning; the crew gets the sunrise over the water, which is not a bad wage.
