About The Gifts Of Earth LLC

Morning comes off Spa Creek in ribbons, and the first thing it touches is grass still holding its dew. The Gifts Of Earth LLC works those early hours in Annapolis, mowing and edging while the water is glassy and the sailboat halyards have not yet begun their clinking. There is a particular satisfaction in a lawn cut clean beside brick — the way a sharp edge along a walk makes an old street look freshly awake. From the Historic District out toward Parole and the creekside neighborhoods, the crew keeps yards green through the Chesapeake's long, humid growing season. When the job is done, what remains is simple: a lawn that looks the way the harbor looks at sunrise, settled and bright and ready for the day.
