About Castillo's Tree Services, LLC

Annapolis Neck is a finger of land with water on both sides, and the loblolly pines along its coves grow tall and shallow-rooted in sandy ground. Castillo's Tree Services, LLC works the yards between the South River and Spa Creek — trimming pine limbs off rooflines, pruning the hardwoods around Hillsmere and Bay Ridge so a canopy holds together when the wind comes across the bay. Removal on this peninsula is often preventive: a leaning trunk over a bulkhead or a deck comes down on a calm day rather than a bad one. After a storm the phone starts early, and cleanup runs drive, then lawn, then the small mess nobody notices until it is gone. Evening on the Neck, water flat and the yard clear, is a decent measure of a day's work.
