Accokeek Arborist

About Accokeek Arborist

From the Accokeek bluff you can look across the Potomac at Mount Vernon and see a shoreline that has been kept deliberately green for a very long while. Accokeek Arborist works this side of the water, among the tulip poplars and river oaks that shade the lanes above Piscataway Park. Tree care here starts with looking: reading a canopy for thin spots, checking the collar and the soil at the base before anyone reaches for a saw. Pruning is done in small, deliberate cuts a tree can close over, and removal is what happens only once the tree has already made the decision. A yard under healthy poplars in June is one of the cooler rooms in the county, and keeping it that way is most of the job.
