About Rumsey Roadside Assistance , Lawn Care-Snow Removal

Some outfits wait out a storm; Rumsey Roadside Assistance, Lawn Care-Snow Removal goes to meet it. When snow closes over Pulaski Highway and the plow trucks become the only headlights moving, Rumsey is out opening driveways, cutting buried walks back to width, and salting the ice before it welds itself to the pavement. It is work for people who are at ease on the road in rough weather — warm cab, cold night, wipers keeping time. The reward comes at first light, when a whole street of driveways stands open and the day gets to start on schedule. Rumsey clears Aberdeen and the nearby stretches of Havre de Grace, Perryman, and Edgewood.
