About The Dukes Chimney Sweeps and Services

The Dukes Chimney Sweeps and Services knows winter from the warm side first — the season of woodsmoke curling over Aberdeen's rooflines while the wind combs down Swan Creek toward the Bay. So when the snow finally arrives, it feels natural that they meet it outside too, shovels and plow blades taking over where the flue work leaves off. Aberdeen's storms tend to arrive overnight, riding up the coast, and by the time the MARC platform lights blink on there is already a driveway somewhere waiting to be freed. The Dukes clear it: steps swept down to the tread, the path to the mailbox opened, the car unburied before the workday asks for it. It is honest, visible work — a house with its chimney breathing and its walk shoveled looks cared for from the street. That look, on a gray Harford County morning, is the whole point.
