Lavelle Tree Service

About Lavelle Tree Service

On the north side of Yarmouth the road runs under a tunnel of old shade, past the sea captains' houses on 6A where the trees are as much of the streetscape as the doorways. Lavelle Tree Service prunes and trims in that narrow country, holding crowns off the slate and the gutters, opening light without losing the tunnel. South toward Bass River and the Sound the soil turns to sand and the pitch pines take the wind straight on, so removal is often about a tree that has quietly let go of its footing. When a nor'easter runs the length of the Cape, storm damage cleanup starts at first light with the driveways and works its way out to the lawns. By the time the boardwalk at Bass Hole is calm again, the streets look like themselves.
