About Winthrop Lawn Care

There is a particular hour in Winthrop when the harbor is still black and the streetlights are the only thing awake — that is when the plow goes out. Winthrop Lawn Care clears driveways, walkways and lots across this narrow peninsula, where a nor'easter arrives sideways off the water and spray freezes hard on the sea wall. By the time the first cars back out toward the neck, the pavement is down to black and the shoveled line at the front steps is cut square. Come June the same streets ask for other things: mowing the small yards that tilt along the drumlins, trimming close to fences and foundations, edging where sidewalk meets grass. Winthrop's lots are tight and its corners are tighter, and doing them right comes down to knowing every one of them by heart.
