About R. Maggio & Son Contractors, Derro Construction Co.

On Winchester's eastern edge the Middlesex Fells comes right up to the back fences — ledge, old stone wall, oak, and then somebody's lawn, all within a few strides. R. Maggio & Son Contractors, Derro Construction Co. works that boundary in both directions of the year: mowing, trimming, edging and mulching while the woods are loud with green, cleanups when they empty out, and plowing, shoveling and salting once the ledge goes silver. Yards pressed against a reservation collect what the forest sends them, so cleanups here are never token work. And a driveway hemmed by stone wall has exactly one right way to be plowed. Learning those particulars, property by property, is how a place stays open and looks well kept at the same time.
