About Townsend Enterprises

Lubbers Brook runs low and dark through Wilmington's town forest, oak and pitch pine leaning over it, and on a late-August evening the whole place goes green-gold at once. Townsend Enterprises works the yards that back up to that kind of quiet — mowing, trimming and edging while the light lasts, cleanups in spring and fall, then plowing, shoveling and sanding when the same trees stand bare and the brook takes on its ice shelf. A finished lawn in summer and an open driveway in February are the same accomplishment wearing different coats. Both mean somebody came, on time, and did it right. Wilmington gets both from one outfit, all the way around the year.
