The Tree Guy

About The Tree Guy

Snow squalls come over the western pass into Williamstown fast enough that you can watch the far ridge vanish before the first flake reaches town. The Tree Guy works both sides of that weather — mowing, trimming and edging while the valley is green, plowing and shoveling once it isn't. Winter here means driveways and lots cleared more than once in a storm, walks kept open, and sand laid on the pitches where a tire loses its grip. Come May the grass comes on all at once under the big trees and the cutting season begins in earnest. Between the two there is very little idle time, and nobody around here seems to mind.
