About M Ostrander LLC

Winter arrives early in the Purple Valley, with Greylock white weeks before the flats and the wind funneling down the Hoosic. M Ostrander LLC opens the ground back up after it — plowing driveways and lots, hand-clearing walks and entries, and putting down sand and salt where north-facing pavement never sees the sun. Berkshire storms can stack a foot overnight and then blow it around all morning, so the work is counted in return trips rather than single passes. Getting a long country driveway open before sunrise, banks pushed back wide enough for the next one, is the whole point. The plow lights swing across stone walls and old maples, and by daylight the road out is clear.
