Zononi Lawn & Landscape

About Zononi Lawn & Landscape

Out past the village the road turns to dirt and the sugar maples close overhead, and the lawns up there were cut out of the woods one at a time. Zononi Lawn & Landscape works those places — mowing, trimming and edging on ground that rolls and drops and rarely offers anyone a rectangle. Summer along the Mill River is green to the point of extravagance, and holding a lawn even against all that takes steady visits rather than heroics. Cleanups bracket the year: brush and winter litter off in spring, and in late October a real reckoning with the leaves. When the last pass is done and the edge cuts clean against the gravel, the little clearing looks like it was always meant to be there.
