About Stony Hill Landscaping

Stony Hill got its name honestly — the ground here gives up another stone every time you turn it, and the old walls out in the woods are the receipts. Stony Hill Landscaping works with that ground rather than against it, mowing, trimming and edging through the green months until the lawns run even right up to the stonework. Autumn is leaves off the turf and out of the beds; then the trucks change over and the winter becomes plowing, shoveling and sanding on those very same properties. Wilbraham lies long and narrow beneath its ridge, so a route runs north and south, up one road and back down the next. Either season, the measure is identical: you can tell from the street that somebody was here.
