About Area Landscape & Sweeping

Whitman wakes early — the first inbound train slips out through the dark while the streets around the town park still lie under whatever fell overnight. Area Landscape & Sweeping runs the storm side of the calendar with plowing, walk and step clearing, and sanding and salting, then turns to mowing, edging, trimming, and cleanups when the ground thaws. Inland snow here comes dry and drifts, filling a driveway back in behind the first pass, which is exactly why the second pass exists. A cleared apron before the school buses roll is its own small victory. Summer along the Shumatuscacant runs humid and the grass grows hard, so the cut stays on schedule right through August.
