Todd's Turf

About Todd's Turf

Late May in Weymouth is all growth — the herring have run at Jackson Square, Whitman's Pond has warmed, and the grass puts on an inch between visits. Todd's Turf keeps up with it: mowing on a tight rotation, edges cut along walks and driveways, trimming worked in around posts and beds, plus the cleanups that start and end the year. Turf on this side of town sits on old glacial sand and drains fast, so a well-timed cut does more good than any fussing. There is a quiet payoff in stepping back at the end of a lawn and seeing the stripes line up square with the house. When October comes, the leaves get moved off before they smother what took all summer to build.
