About JDH Landscaping and Tree

Central Village greens up in stages — the maples first, the oaks holding out until they are nearly the last things in Westport to believe in spring — and by then the lawns are running ahead of everybody. JDH Landscaping and Tree gets onto that schedule early: a cleanup to strip out the winter mess, mowing on a weekly rhythm, string trimming around every post and stone, the border cut where grass meets gravel. Mulch goes down while the beds are still cool and damp; leaves come off in November before they pack into a mat. Ordinary work done at exactly the right time is most of the secret. Westport, Dartmouth, Fall River and the villages in between.
