Snow finds the back roads of Westminster first — the ones out past Whitmanville, narrow and shaded, where drifts build against a stone wall while the main road is still only wet. Mark A. Ross plows those driveways: opening the full length, cutting square at the top so a car can turn, clearing the walkway to the door, putting sand and salt down on the pitch. Storms up here come with wind, and a driveway can close behind you before you have finished the next one, so a night is often two passes rather than one. Nobody sees the work; they see the pavement. Getting out clean on a February morning is the entire point.
