Plow King of Massachusetts

About Plow King of Massachusetts

At three in the morning the Drum Hill rotary belongs to nobody, and Route 3 is two white lanes under sodium light. Plow King of Massachusetts is out in it, working Chelmsford driveways and lots while the storm is still falling, because snow moved early moves easier than snow left to set. The blade comes back for a second pass once the wind stops packing the aprons, walkways get shoveled clear to the door, and the slick corners get treated before the first car turns in. Nor'easters here land wet and heavy, then freeze hard behind the front, so timing is most of the job. Morning arrives, the drive is black pavement, and nobody has to think about it.
