Some storms reach Westborough politely and some come sideways off Sandra Pond in the middle of a February afternoon. Barry H's Clean Up meets both the same way: blade down, shovel out, the walk scraped to the pavement before dusk turns everything blue. Ice gets salt and sand where shade lingers under the pines and the melt refreezes by suppertime. Snowbanks are pushed back properly, so the second storm of the week still has somewhere to go. It is plain work, and an open drive at the end of it is a plain, honest pleasure.
