About A A A Landscaping

Up behind Piper Road the Bear Hole woods hold their fog until the sun clears the ridge, and that is about when A A A Landscaping already has the mowers running. Summer in West Springfield comes on thick and green, and the crew answers it with straight lines across a dooryard and an edge along the walk you could set a ruler against. In December the same trucks carry blades, and the work becomes driveways opened while the streetlights are still burning. There is a particular satisfaction in grass cut clean by seven in the morning and a shoveled walk waiting when the storm quits. Season to season the ambition stays the same: a yard that looks cared for, and a driveway that never keeps anybody waiting.
